Description: Antique Primitive Checkerboard Bottle Cap Checkers Game Board on Wood Crate Lid Thanks for visiting my listing! It is for the antique wooden checkboard pictured. It is in good antique/vintage condition. It's specific condition details are as seen in the photos. The wood is stable and not squishy or rotting. It smells like old wood. It is about 12 inches tall by 17.75 inches wide. This piece would make awesome wall decor for a game room, man cave, bar, etc. This item was was meant to be played with bottle caps. It is rare to find the lid by itself with its wooden knob still attached. There were originally wooden supports that were glued onto it to keep the lid from falling off the crate. They were pried off at some point, probably to make it easier to play on the game board. I think it was a common thing to do, as other lids are missing the supports as well. This item currently comes from a smoke-free, pet-free home. It will be wrapped in bubble wrap and shipped in a box (or cardboard wrapper) USPS Ground Advantage rate. All sales are final.
