Description: HAMMER BRAND tang stamp on the large spear blade. 263 on back tang.NEW YORK KNIFE CO WALDEN tang stamp the pen blade.Made by the New York Knife Company in Walden, New York, late 1800’s to 1930’s.“Serpentine Dogleg Penknife” pattern, 3-3/8” closed.Brass liners and nickel silver bolsters and pins.Both blades have strong snap, no wobble.Nice mother of pearl handles with great color. No cracks or chips.Carried and used a bit, may have been lightly sharpened.The blades are each full with factory finish, factory edge.Clear HAMMER BRAND etch on the large blade.Blades have some surface scratches, patina.
