Description: This antique fruit jar is a unique addition to any collection. With a beautiful amber color and globe shape, it is sure to catch the eye. The jar is believed to have been manufactured in the United States and has a quart volume. The jar is a great example of a fruit jar and is perfect for display. It features a unique bottle type and is categorized as an antique, pre-1900 collectible. This piece is a must-have for any bottle or insulator collector. Jar is in great conditions no chips or cracks Regular flea bites in the interior side of the lip The jar does have a potstone but does not seem to have legs as shown in the pictures The lettering of the jar were painted in white to make it easier to read I did not try to remove the paint but it is probable that it can be removed easily As shown in the pictures, the clamp seems to have been glued by 2 little pieces of metal where the clamp meets with the other side to grab onto the jar probably so that the clamp would not move I am unsure of its authenticity Placed the clamp under a magnet and did attract to it 100% functional As found conditions Base marked with Hemingrey 50 On the interior of the base there is extra glass internally since it can not be felt on the exterior You can see in the pictures Nice jar Please review and base your judgement upon the pictures and description If you have any questions please feel free to ask Thank you
