Description: This antique figurine, possibly from Royal Vienna, was made in the late 1800’s. The exquisitely modeled 5&1/4” seated girl is playing a guitar or similar stringed instrument. The base is incised 4209, with a hand applied “beehive” (shield) mark in blue underglaze. The mark is the same as one that appears on Royal Vienna figures, but this figurine is not marked with a company or country of origin. The figure is in pristine condition from a smoke-free home.
