Description: I am listing two pieces of antique Palestinian embroidery from the estate of a textile conservator who worked in the Middle East. This one is a long strip measuring 24" long by 4" wide with longer Vs at each end. It has been conserved by mounting on cotton conservation fabric - the white fabric piece measures 34" long by about 15" wide. The embroidered strip has small squares of intricate patterns in black, pink, and orange. I found one area with a few beige stitches which may have been added by the conservator? This is a great vibrant design. Please see the closeup photos for details. This is in excellent condition with no holes, stains, or funky odors. It is a jewel of color and pattern; it will frame beautifully. Please see the other listing also.
