Description: Just out of a local smoke free house is this nice pair of antique hand tooled chromed WWI trench art artillery shells that were made as lamps. We believe these were possibly US navy shells. They are marked on the base 1918 WPS JBS and near the top with an anchor J.L.S. and another anchor. The other is marked near the top with an anchor JBS and another anchor. They are mounded on wood bases and have their original pull chain sockets. One lamp has two running deer, a buck and a doe. The other has what looks to be a native American Indian with a bow hunting deer. They measure about 11 3/4 inches tall, and about 6 5/16 inches across the base. The electrics work well and the wiring was updated years ago. There is some loss to the chrome and one lamp has some loss to the wood base where the bottom of one shell is mounted. See photos as they are part of the description. Would make a nice addition to any collection and is guaranteed as described. Calculated shipping is based on ebays shipping calculator.
