Description: 2 ANTIQUE SPRING HINGESWonderful pair of antique brass plated or brass over steel spring hinges, each measuring 6-1/2" long to knob ends, 4" wide when laid flat and 5" long on the mortise section. Marked THE BROMMER SPRING HINGE and complete with patents dating from 1892 to 1905, hinges work perfectly with a nice, substantial feel and stiff action - each wing is drilled with five mount holes. Condition is very nice with no dents, holes, rust, discoloration, repairs or damage - these are very heavy and well made - they weight 2 before packing - believe designed for a heavy front door or boiler room door self closing - minor usage marks. Hoping someone can use them - just an awesome pair! Fun addition to any home or architectural display!Both hinges are in great working condition. These will polish up nicely the brass plating is all there there is no corrosion on these the spring is in good working condition and is extremely strong.
