Description: The ornate German mandolin is being sold As Is for restoration. Everything is tight and it is free of any damage that would render it unplayable. Through research, the mandolin appears to be in the style of Edmund Paulus. However, since there are no makers marks I cannot confirm the maker. I will point out on the back there are 9 pieces of the mother of pearl inlay missing on the back One piece is near the neck, and the others are between the 6 and 9 o’clock positions. There is also a small area on the back that appears to be a tight surface age crack. The case is in fair condition but has kept the mandolin in very good shape while is storage. All these areas of concern and the overall condition can be viewed in the pictures. The mandolin is being sold As Is. Thank you for looking.
