Description: Antique or Vintage Ceramic Doll with Leather Body Possibly Martha Washington This is an unusual doll that may or may not be a representation of Martha Washington. I am not a doll expert, so I posted this doll on a Facebook antique doll collector group and got a lot of mixed feedback. Some said the leather body appears to be antique. One person said rough eye sockets may indicate the eyes may be replacements. Others said the porcelain head may be of Martha Washington and may be a newer reproduction attached to the older body. There was no consensus on exactly what this doll is or how old. There are no markings that I could find.
