Two pullout drawers and a hinged top compartment. The locking mechanism requires lifting the top lid to release hinged fold out guards on the sides to access the drawers. A unique safety for the silverware drawers. Drawer joints, case joints, and hinges are all tight. Overall, in excellent condition with signs of use. No key. Measurements are 18x13x9 inches with the lid and base being somewhat larger. Weight 20 pounds. A few scars and scratches but an impressive piece of antique furniture.
