Description: For sale is a nice figurine which I think maybe Venus made by Nymphenburg in the early 20th century . It is a lady putto superbly modeled by Bustelli in the 18th century and remade by them starting in the late 19th century. She is holding a torch in her right arm and a burning or flaming heart in her left hand. Her left foot is standing on a shield and a sword. The figurine is about 4.25 inches tall, 3.375 inches wide and 2.75 inches deep. She is in great condition with the leaf on the flower in her hair chipped and the loops of the bow on her right hip broken off. Neither takes away from her when on display and these issues are hard to spot. The piece is marked underneath with the impressed shield mark as well as the numbers 491 over 3.
