Description: This Nippon hand painted vase features a hand painted floral decoration with gold moriage outlining and beaded enameled moriage accents. It has two gilt handles. The vase is marked with the Morimura Brothers green Laurel wreath mark 1911-1921. The vase is 6.5” tall and 4.25” wide at the handles and 2.75” wide at the base. The rim diameter is 1.25”. The vase is from the estate of a West Michigan collector. There are no chips or cracks and the decorative paint is intact. The moriage beaded floral and scroll medallion on the front of the vase seems to be a bit off center. (Production/artist deviation.)
