Description: Antique Nippon Morimura Hand Painted Teacup & Saucer Set-Floral & Gold Encrusted Beautiful Antique Nippon Morimura Hand Painted Teacup & Saucer Set. This piece is gorgeous with its cream and brown base decorated with hand painted pink, blue, yellow, white and green floral design. Stunning encrusted gold beaded gild swirl decoration by the rim with a drape design over the flowers. This pattern is also repeated on the saucer. Teacup is marked on the bottom with the Maple Leaf Nippon Hand Painted logo in blue, which dates this piece to the Morimura Gumi era and made between 1891-1911. This set together measures 2 3/8" high x 5 1/2" wide and is in good pre-owned condition free of any chips or cracks. The gold gild and trim is in great condition not showing any wear. Does has some light staining of coffee mark and some knicks in the paint by the handle but nothing major to take away from the overall beauty of this set, especially for it's age. Would look pretty on display in any china cabinet or a great piece for someone you collects early Japan china. Vintage and antique items have been loved and used by the previous owner so please expect for there to be some imperfections. If there are any major imperfections such as age cracks, rust, chips, etc I will do my best to list them. I will combine shipping if you buy multiple items when I can.
