Description: For sale is an antique NILOAK mission ware pottery vase in their well known mission swirl pattern. This piece is 10” tall and 4.5” in diameter. There is a chip on the underside of the rim and a few small flea bites on the top as shown in the pictures. The flea bites are very small and look like white dots. Overall, for a piece that is 100+ years old, it is in beautiful condition. NILOAK mission ware pottery was produced from 1909 until 1946 in Benton Arkansas. The blue NILOAK pottery sticker on the bottom of this vase was used from the 1910’s through the 1920’s. The stamp on the bottom is what is called the First Art Mark and was used until 1924, which dates this vase to pre-1924. There is also a hand written sticker on the bottom, which is not completely legible, but I believe I see the word “Christmas” and a hand written date of 1926. This is a beautiful antique piece of pottery and would be a great addition to someone’s collection.
