Antique 19th c Miniature Toy Pail Bucket 2" with Apples Hand Made Wood Folk Art. Description: This c. late 19th c miniature cedar wood bucket / pail is charming, highly detailed, and so well constructed! It features copper staves with brass-colored varnish finish with tiny copper rivets clipped "v" ends, finely shaped bail plates and a wire and wood handle. The top and bottom of the staves are chamfered to appear as finished as a real pail. The bucket has a light varnish finish. As a little bonus, I found the bucket with 5 old miniature wooden painted apples, which I am including. Condition: Very good antique condition, with some age-appropriate wear to the finish, and flaking to the varnish on the bands.There is a tiny, tight crack on the bottom of one of the stays, doesn't affect the integrity, just mentioning for accuracy.
