Description: Up for bid is an original antique pre-owned Mar 1st 1892 The Weir Bail Stoneware CROCK Quarts Jar. Found at an estate sale. This great little stoneware crock with its original metal closure and lid is embossed The Weir Pat’d Mar 1st 1892. Crock measures about 7 3/4 inches tall by 4 1/4 inches diameter across the base. In very good condition with general wear from use and storage. No cracks or repairs that I could find. A few minor chips along the edges. Some crazing over the body. This is from the Weir Company.
