Description: An antique large round French dough bowl / riser. Wood with hand-forged iron bands, nails, and handles. Late 1700's - early 1800's. Nice patina and craftsmanship. Primitive. Large: 19.5"-20" diameter, 24" wide with handles, 6" high. Weighs approx. 9 lbs 10 oz. Condition: Pre-owned. No odor. Surface wear as seen in photos. Wormholes in wood (see photos 10-11) show authenticity. Solid; nothing jiggles or feels loose. Provenance: Purchased from a reputable antiques dealer in Richboro, PA in June 2004.
