Antique Large Cornell Ironstone Pitcher (Ewer) and Basin Blue and White

Description: For your consideration is a lovely antique (circa 1900) semi-vitreous ironstone basin and pitcher (ewer) with blue floral design. It is the real deal (NOT a mid-century reproduction). This set has been in my family for more than 60 years. As a child, I remember looking at it and always thinking how beautiful it is. The time has come for a new custodian to care of this lovely set as I am downsizing a large portion of my personal collection. Both pieces are stamped with Cornell on the bottom (I assume that is the name of the pattern). The manufacturer was Knowles, Taylor, and Knowles Pottery - East Liverpool, Ohio operating between 1890 and 1904. The set is approximately 125 year old and has been well-loved. Please see photos for imperfections and feel free to ask questions. The pitcher does have crazing, a few chips and cracks (please see images). Although the pitcher does hold water, I would consider it more of a "shabby chic" set to be used purely for display (maybe even with dried hydrangeas, dried flowers or silk flowers).
