Description: This rare Lavender colored version of the Kodak "Petite" compact folding Vest Pocket with deluxe "Art Deco" styling design. Made in Rochester, NY by Eastman Kodak Company. Circa 1930. Uses 127 size film, and produces 4.5x6cm negatives. Scarce colored versions of the compact Vest Pocket Kodak cameras with colored Art Deco designs. This Lavender colored version of the Petite camera has a rose leatherette covering with diamond pattern. Lavender colored finish on the metal parts of the camera with original matching bellows and original stylist. Folding mechanism functions perfectly and slides easily on its rails. Shutter is in perfect working condition in both Instant and Time settings. This camera is in excellent condition with no wear. dents, abrasions, or discoloration. Original art deco case is in very good condition with slight edge wear (see scans). A pristine example of Kodak's colorful cameras for ladies.
