Description: Antique leather and brass tape measure by John Rabone & Sons of Birmingham England. This is not functional as is. The tape is missing and this is the case only. Maybe you have a tape you can wind into it? It's still a great display piece with your other primitive antique tools. The brass handle does flip out and turn easily. From the early 1900's. Condition is excellent for age as far as the condition of the leather and brass are concerned. Someone's name seems to be scratched into the backside. Measures 4 1/8" diameter x 3/4" high.
