Description: Antique Japanese Shibayama card case. One side depicts birds and flowers in mother of pearl, jade and hard stones. The other side is a hand carved monkey catching a dragonfly. The monkey is signed. No chips or cracks, some discoloration commensurate with age. Circa 1890-1900. Quite unusual with the carved monkey.
