Based on my research (please confirm my identification), this appears to be a Onko-yaki ware Netsuke. These masks were produced from the Edo period through the mid-20th century. I have been unable to identify the makers mark but have found this Netsuke online listed as an Onko-yaki. The back of the mask has two markings that are clearly pictured in the listing. This Netsuke Mask would make a Great Addition to any Antique Pottery Collection. Size: - Height 1 7/8" - Width 1 1/4" - Depth 7/8" Condition: - Very Good to Excellent Condition - There are no chips or repairs to the mask. There is minor wear to the white decoration and a shallow split on the rear of the mask between the eyes (is only visible from the rear of the mask).
