Description: Up for sale is an Antique Japanese Moriage Biscuit Jar or Lidded Canister. This is possibly from the Meiji Period and looks similar to Nippon. It is approx. 7.5" tall by 5.5" wide. There is a small chip to the inner rim of the lid and two small nicks around the jar rim. There is some overall paint wear also present. Absolutely stunning design with intricate painting work!
