Description: Antique Japanese Lacquered Box, Pagoda, Crane, Stamped “Fabriqué au Japon” This antique Japanese lacquered wooden box, made for the French market, is beautifully designed with a traditional Japanese landscape including pagodas, Japanese trees, islands and a crane. The key hole has a decorative embossed cover. The bottom is stamped “Fabriqué au Japon” (Made in Japan). This piece shows some loss of the lacquered finish and absence of the key, all commensurate with age and use. Please refer to the detailed photos on this page.
