Description: This is an antique Japanese hand painted Satsuma Moriage vase tea jar with foo dog handles. The vase is decorated in many colors, with blue, red and yellow the most prominent among them. There are paintings of sitting figures on both front and back of it, some flowers and other decorative elements. The painting is done in beading technique. The handles of the vase are shaped like foo dogs. The vase is about 4 3/4" tall, about 5" wide, weighs about 12 oz. The vase stands on 3 legs and it has no lid. It is in a great used condition, no damage. The vase had been in the same family for many decades. It is a very nice decorative object. See all photos for details and condition.
