Description: Joseph Mrazek began making his pottery in 1917/1918 and continued through about 1932. Peasant Art Pottery grew from a simple one-man operation in a small apartment in New York City to a thriving industry with a factory in Letovice in Czechoslovakia employing hundreds. We are offering for your consideration this beautiful creamer and covered sugar bowl set. Hand painted in orange and black with a bright cobalt, green, yellow, and purple floral motif. They are both stamped on the bottom. The creamer is 4” tall, 5 1/2” wide handle to spout and 3 5/8” deep. The sugar bowl measures 4 3/4” tall including lid, 6 3/4” wide handle to handle and 4 5/8” deep. They are in very good antique condition with minimal age and use appropriate wear. The creamer has two small chips on the spout. There are no additional chips or cracks. Please see photos for condition details and feel free to ask questions. Estate item. Condition is pre owned.
