Description: Lovely lacey old Italian mosaic pin of marble rose, a red flower and leaves set into slate. Stones are in good condition, no cracks or losses. The double rows of filigree make for a dramatic frame. Measures 2' long and 1.5 inches wide. Weighs 12.4 ounces. I have left the silver with its dark patina. If you like, I will polish the pin before sending to you. There are no marks. These tourist brooches were made in 800 silver (800 parts silver, 200 parts alloy) during the second half of 19th century and early decades of the 20th century.
