Description: The box measures 10.5cm by 7cm by 3.2cm and it's weight is deceptively heavy, weighing 175g. There is a a fan-tail style floral design to the top of the lid and some erosion of the Niello work can be seen as red flecks. The edges around the box are decorated with repetivitive patterns. The open lid exposes an interior that provides a beautiful shine to the colour/grade of brass of the box and a reason perhaps, for the wear and tear from polishing the exterior.
