Description: For sale is an Antique Imperial Russian Tobacco / Snuff Box This is an antique lacquer papier mache tobacco / snuff box made by the Vishnyakov factory, Russia ca late 19th C. The box is finely hand paited with a troyka motif in night landscape . In very good condition considering the age! Minor flea bite type losses to the edges as seen in the pictures. Also there is the typical age related fine craquelure to the top lacquer finish. Left in original condition. Marked with Vishnyakov factory marks to the interior.
