Description: Up for sale is a Hobbs snow flake pattern oil stand lamp with a white milk glass base. The pattern is pictured in Thuros book Oil Lamps 1 on page 152 with a clear glass base. The lamp has the square font with a drape like line that also goes around the font. In good condition without any damage it does look like the collar was replaced at some point and maybe some work on the connector brass please look closely at the pictures. This lamp has a Boston brass burner and a new wick and ready for service the burner has some slight damage but the prongs holding the shade are solid and the wick moves with ease. You don't see these lamps come up often. The lamp measures 8 7/8" to the top of the collar and just over 4" at the base. Thanks for Looking!!!!
