Description: This listing is for an antique hand-drawn piece of architectural artwork, featuring an architectural detail of carved lily flowers leaves and a pattern. , possibly from some estate, government, or church building. It is done in pencil with a very visually stimulating victorian gothic style. The twisting pattern really makes your eye wander along all its twists & curves. It is signed in the bottom right corner by the artist. Due to the fact this is a hand drawn original, likely an artist’s proof / sketch for project approval sort of deal, it is very likely a one of a kind unique piece of art. Based upon the style, and the other worls this piece was found with, I believe it was drawn sometime in the 1890-1920 range. I am unsure of what building this detailed carving originally would have belonged to, or if it was even made, it was sourced from an estate in Pittsburgh Pennsylvania, which has a wealth of architectural heritage. It came with 3 other neat architectural designs, which are also listed, all by the same artist I believe. This carving was an exquisite piece, and so is the artist’s rendition here. It is perfect for gifting, display, collectors, & more. This piece comes framed as it was found, in a nice usable frame. It could potentially be reframed & matted, up to the buyers preferences. Comes as is, as shown. Please see photos for details. Measures 14.25 inches by 11.5 inches.
