Description: This antique trinket box is a true gem for collectors. Very good pre-owned condition. It does have a couple of splits in the wood, see photos. Hand-crafted from wood, itfeatures a dodecagon (12-sided) shape with a red bakellite flower knob on the hinged lid. There is a removable round interior wood bowl, see photo. The box itself has a veneer finish over the interior wood construction. It is hand-carved and inlaid with an interesting pattern on the legs. Measuring 6" in length, 4" to the top of the knob, and 4 1/2" in width, this box is perfect for storing small items or serving as a decorative piece.
