Description: Here is a very nice example of a Grenet Cell from the 1890's. The glass jar is near perfect. Both the graphite plates and the zinc element appear unused. The brass is tarnished in spots (mostly around the top ring) that could use some polishing. Personally, I like keeping them in "unrestored" condition. Please see pictures. The glass jar by itself is 6 1/2" high. It is 3 1/2" in diameter at the largest point. These batteries are getting increasingly difficult to get in any condition. So, don't pass up an opportunity to get one in stellar condition.
