This is a fairly easy, customize as you like, restoration project with these beautiful ornate cast iron theater seats. They are from the early 1900's. As you can see from the images, the wood was no more good but the cast iron is in great usable condition. In order to facilitate the restoration project, I have taken pictures of the disassembly process. You will see in the images, it was very easy to disassemble....just a few screws here and there. PLEASE NOTE: YOU ARE ONLY GOING TO RECEIVE THE CAST IRON FRAMING...the wood was not salvageable. However, I am including one of the back wood stretchers for a template for you and I am including one of the armrest pieces. The wood platform of the seat measures 16 1/2" wide. The original screws that I removed will also be included. The base of the middle section of cast iron, where the screws go to mount the seats to the floor, one of the screw holes has a chip in that area (see picture)...it does not harm the mounting integrity of this unit (essentially, no big deal). You can see from the pictures the beautiful ornate workings of these pieces and how they fold up and function. On the bottom of the seat, there is a rack. I believe this rack was used for hats. These racks are also included. Here is exactly what you will receive: (3) ornate cast iron frames, two metal racks, one back wood stretcher for a template, one wood armrest for a template, and all of the screws I removed when disassembling. This will be a fun restoration project for any "do it yourselfer." The ornate cast iron frames measure approximately 36" tall.
