Description: Antique Fereghan / Farahan / Ferahan rug. Late 19thcentury to early 20thcentury. Beautiful design with interesting small secondary borders. Most colors are probably natural though one end has a different orange that is brighter on the back. Village production with some variation in width. Nice soft abrash in camel colored field. Clean(washed by hand).Good condition for its age. Ends secured. Needs attention to the selvages, which were machine bound at some point, but most of this has been removed. Some original selvage loss. 1”split on one edge, some end loss into small secondary borders, some fold wear, minor stains, small cobbled repair.See the photographs, which were taken outdoors without a flash on a cloudy day.
