Description: Antique - Federal Period Split Column Reverse Painted Mirror - 23.2 x 14 Inch - Very FINE Condition Authentic, American Federal Period antique original, made in the late 1700s or early 1800s. Mirror and reverse-painted folk-style church landscape in a wood frame with hand-hewn backing. Top portion displays an expertly reverse-painted glass panel; the theme is a church between two trees with a clock tower and rectory in the background, all perched on two green hills below a streaky, pale pink and blue sky.
