Description: Antique FAN in large 25" Oval golden frame with glass ~ brass and black folding This eBay listing is for an antique framed fan that comes as you see pictured in the listing and noted above. Sadly, I don't know much at all about antique fan's so please review all of the pictures. The true age and maker is unknown. It could be 18th - 19th century or newer. The fan looks to be made of brass and the fan material is black and looks to be thick like maybe a form of paper maybe. I never removed this from the framing to inspect it for fear of either damaging the fan or the frame itself. The frame has a few marks and chips to the gold but overall in nice condition. The overall size is 25" across, 19" tall and 2" thick (it could be thicker due to the convex glass that goes over top of the fan. Due to the shape and size of this piece, there is no easy way to ship this so I'll be shipping this inside an oversized 18 x 18 x 30 tall shipping box via Fedex.
