Description: This hand painted antique plate has a unique depiction of three apples that have fallen to the ground and been left to bruise. The bright green grass and reds and yellows of the apples are stunning colors even after all the time that has passed. The scalloped rim has some gold that has worn off in places, please see pictures. The plate measures approximately 8.25 inches across. The stamp dates the plate as having been made between 1857 to 1920, by Hutschenreuther Selb of Bavaria, now Germany. The style of plate was called Charlotte, and other plates under this name also had depictions of fruit or florals. No chips or cracks. Very minor scratches to paint near the rightmost two apples. Please view photos carefully to note. Packed with care and shipped with tracking. Please message me with any questions.
