Description: Antique Wooden Miniature Baby Porthole Photo Frame This is a charming and unusual old photo frame designed to hold two miniature round photos, in this case two baby photos. Dating from 1913. It is made from polished wood with a heavy wooden base. The photos are fronted in glass and have a small circular brass/yellow metal porthole style surround. The photo frame was clearly given in celebration of a baby's first birthday, the base of the frame has a handwritten message in ink - "1.12-12 - 1.12.13 - Dick - Many Happy returns" It measures 100mm x 70mm x 70mm at its widest points (including the base). There are three screws on the base which is how the base is attached. NB - the photos cannot be removed or changed. In excellent condition with no chips or cracks.
