It has a carved whippet or greyhound dog for a handle, with glass eyes. It has a bamboo wood shaft, with a pig skin leather end. It is in very good condition, with some wear and tarnish. The length is 22 inches long, including the leather. The dog head is 2.25 inches long. The neck of the dog is sterling silver and marked "STERLING".
