Description: For sale is a nice plate made by one of the Paris region makers in the early 19th century . It is nicely hand painted with a large scene in the center including a couple by a fountain, some trees and building as well as two sheep and a goat in a typical landscape. Nicely done and it looks stunning with that superb gold trim design along the rim. The plate is in superb condition with some use marks to the gilding and a divot along the edge under the gilding from when it was made - as shown. . The piece is not marked but that is pretty normal for this period and area. The plate is 1.25 inches tall and 9.125 inches in diameter.
