Description: Antique Dugan Glass ELECTRIC BLUE Opalescent Bowl Single Flower Framed Stippled. This EXTRAORDINARY antique treasure comes by way of famous Dugan Glass Company. Dugan’s short lived operating life was from 1903 to 1913, but they managed to produce some of the most sought after, beautiful and collectible pieces in the history of American carnival and opalescent glass. This specific piece was released in 1909, pattern titled SINGLE FLOWER FRAMED. This flowing wavy edge bowl is an amazing bright electric blue, with a bold opalescent trim. The interior is rayed. The pattern, also called LAURA, is exterior and consists of three ‘sets’ or ‘sections’ around the bowl- each one displays a single five petal flower on a straight stem, with two additional buds and leaves. It is enclosed in a stippled fan like frame. The base is a three petal wavy leafed flower. This bowl is in great age appropriate condition. No chips or cracks.
