Description: ANTIQUE DOULTON BURSLEM EWER JUG VASE1886 - 1891 Very pretty Victorian era Doulton Burslem Ewer measures approximately 8 1/4" tall 3 3/4" wide. Beautifully detailed decoration of gorgeous floral boughs, possibly tree peonies on a creamy pinkish background. The gold outlining on the flowers and leaves is raised. There are no chips, cracks or repairs, does have the expected crazing that we normally see in this type of pottery. Has the Doulton Burslem mark dating it to 1886 - 1891. Please see photos. I like to use Priority Mail as the delivery time and tracking is more reliable. If you have received a glass item please do remember that glass can be quite fragile. If your package has been sitting outside in very low temperatures please do bring indoors as soon as possible but do let it warm up to room temperature before opening. Cold glass easily cracks so it's not a good idea to put it next to a heater or handle it until it has warmed up. With the high temperatures we've been having I think the reverse might apply. It would be a good practice to let your package cool off a bit before opening.
