Mechanically: It does function as designed, just push down on the little button up front and the arm pops up igniting it; however, isn't like anything I'v eseen. The flint tension requires frequent adjustment. Too tight and the arm won't stand straight up; too loose, and you won't get a spark. But, it does work. A word of caution, blow it out and wait a little before touching the arm; ouch, it's hot! Cosmetics: Around 100 years old, see pics.
