Description: Original Antique Door Knob from the late 1800s or early 1900s. Rare piece that doesn't come to market often. Knob is made of brass or bronze(magnet does not stick). Knob is a passage size. Knob uses a passage size threaded spindle. Appears that it may have had a square non threaded spindle put into the knob as opening appears more square and damaged threads. Knob has multiple dents/flat spots and flaws/scratches around the edges, there are no dents in the face of the knob. Minor imperfections and signs of use including issue with threading as described above. Please see pictures and ask questions prior to bidding or purchase.
