It closes in the back-there are no closures present. There are extra holes along the waistline-for more buttons or a ribbon. This is in vintage condition. There are no stains, there are tiny age related spots and broken brides and wear on the lace trim- As Shown. I have not laundered this lovely skirt. Measurements~ Waist ~ 12 1/2" (these measurements are side to side flat across) Length 21" Please note these measurements are taken on the outside of the garment. AMAZING DETAIL!
