Description: Antique French Bebe doll dress. Ca. 19th century. Made of very dark red wool and fully lined with netting. Lower hem edge is trimmed with knitted band. Hand embroidered feather stitching decorates the front center, and sleeve openings. Antique enameled brooch pin back at the bodice. Measures approximately 9 inches long, waist 10 inches around, sleeves 4 3/4 inches long. Arm openings measure approximately 3 inches around at the wrist. Shoulder to shoulder measurement at the back is approximately 3 1/2 inches across from side to side. Hook and loop closures at the back. Extremely well made garment.
