It was made by the Davenport factory in Longport, Staffordshire, England, which was in business from 1793 to 1887. Davenport was an important factory, producing top quality and highly coveted goods. Design: The plate features a classic blue and white transfer ware waterside scene. Size: It's 10 1/4 inches wide and weighs 1 pound 3 ounces. Condition: There is substantial crazing, staining and discoloration, wear to the edges and verge, and a significant old crack that is more obvious on the back but is visible from both sides. There may be other small flaws that are not mentioned here so please check all the photos very carefully - they are an important part of the description.
