Description: Antique Danish M1854 Socket Bayonet w/ Triangular Blade for Suhler Tapriffel Best guess on identification and age. Very cool antique bayonet, year of issue 1855. Markings include stamped numbers 1855_9615 with the 9615 crossed out and beside it stamped 9994. On the elbow, there is an 'S' and what looks like a crown or a boat with full sails and a sideways 'G'. The blade is about 19 1/4" long and is triangular in shape. One side is 'smooth and is slightly concave. The other two sides curve upwards and about six inches from the blade tip is a series of serrations, like a saw.
