Description: A Spanish Colonial Cuzco school oil on canvas, later mounted to board, of an Archangel with a musket known as a harquebus. It is set in a colonial style carved wood frame. This scene is common in Colonial era Cuzco school art. The painting is certainly not from the 18th century, my best estimate is that it is from the first half of the twentieth century or perhaps earlier. Painting is well rendered and in very good condition. Painting has light surface soiling, a few areas of very small scattered paint loss, etc. Please see all photos for condition. Measures approximately 10 7/8” x 9 1/8” framed Ships fully insured *****I have a set of four all listed separately, will combine shipping for free if purchasing one or more of the matched set.
